Merger clearance and authorisation application forms

Where we receive applications seeking clearance or authorisation of mergers or acquisitions under the Commerce Act, an application is required to include the information and documents required by us in prescribed applications forms.

Following consultation, we have published new application forms for clearance and authorisation of mergers or acquisitions, along with updated guidance on filing an application. These new application form requirements apply to applications registered from 1 July 2026.
