Current information disclosure requirements for electricity distributors
We require every electricity provider to publish information each year detailing their performance.
This includes important data on pricing, future expenditure forecasts, outages and interruptions and financial statements. We provide an analysis of this information to help the public understand how their local electricity company is performing individually and when compared to others, and to track changes over time.
Below you will find the current information disclosure requirements that apply to electricity distributors and other relevant information. (See this page for disclosure data downloads)
Current information disclosure requirements
Information on Information Disclosure Due Dates can be found below. The excel file provides a detailed view while the diagram gives an overview of Part 4 and Part 6 information disclosure due dates.
If you are providing information disclosures to the Commission via email, please send these through to infrastructure.regulation@comcom.govt.nz
Exemptions to information disclosure requirements may affect the due dates and reporting requirements set out in the determination.
EDB information disclosure issues and guidance register
We publish an EDB information disclosure (ID) issues and guidance register (issues register) to record any issues or queries stakeholders raise about implementing the ID requirements, and our response to them. Updates to the register are ongoing.
