Innovation and Non-Traditional Solutions Allowance (INTSA)

INTSA enables an electricity distribution business subject to DPP4 to apply for an additional allowance for projects involving innovative or non-traditional solutions.

This page provides information for stakeholders about INTSA processes, as well as links to current applications and past applications for both INTSA and its DPP3 predecessor - the Innovation Project Allowance.

INTSA Guidance

We have developed guidance for INTSA to help stakeholders understand how to prepare an INTSA application and how we will assess applications. We have also prepared an optional application template that EDBs may find helpful when considering making INSTA applications.
