The register of non-retail users lists all companies who may purchase telecommunications services directly from Chorus.

The 2011 amendments to the Telecommunications Act 2001 introduced a requirement for the Commission to maintain a register of those users to whom Chorus may supply telecommunications services. This is known as the register of non-retail users and can be found on the link at the bottom of this webpage.

Section 69O states that Chorus must not supply telecommunications services to a person if that person will consume 25% or more of the services supplied themselves. If a user's name is on the register, it is conclusive evidence that Chorus does not breach section 69O by supplying telecommunications services to that user.
