Transpower IM Amendment relating to recoverable costs
We are considering amending the Transpower input methodology (IM) in relation to recoverable costs associated with major capex proposals (MCPs).
We are considering a potential amendment to the Transpower IM to address discrete issues with the operation of the provisions relating to the recoverable cost mechanism in clause 3.1.3(1)(d) to ensure the mechanism allows Transpower to recover operating costs associated with major capex proposals.

We welcome views on our draft decision. Submissions are due by 5pm Thursday 16 July 2026. We will publish submissions on our website shortly after. Cross-submissions will be due by 5pm Tuesday 4 August 2026.
