Transpower IM Amendment relating to recoverable costs
We are considering amending the Transpower input methodology (IM) in relation to recoverable costs associated with major capex proposals (MCPs).
We are considering a potential amendment to the Transpower IM to address discrete issues with the operation of the provisions relating to the recoverable cost mechanism in clause 3.1.3(1)(d) to ensure the mechanism allows Transpower to recover operating costs associated with major capex proposals.
Draft decision for consultation
On 25 June 2026 we published our draft decision on potential amendments to the Transpower IM relating to recoverable costs. On 22 July we published submissions on the draft decision. These documents can be found under the 'Documents' tab, below.
