Annual targeted visits to electricity distributors

We prioritise ongoing oversight of EDBs’ asset management practices using information disclosure data to assess investment, asset condition and performance, and customer engagement. Regular visits by Commission staff, both targeted and EDB‑requested, support discussions on asset management plans, helping EDBs understand how their data is viewed. This helps us to better understand current practices and performance improvements aimed at delivering safe, reliable, and efficient electricity services now and in the future.
