This reaffirms our shared commitment to ongoing collaboration that supports the effective and efficient regulation of water services in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Working together to oversee New Zealand’s water services, the MoU outlines how we’ll align our approaches where appropriate, reduce overlap and share information to support effective and efficient regulation.

It also reflects our commitment to supporting wider government expectations for a regulatory environment that promotes confidence, clarity, and cohesion. Through this coordinated approach, we aim to improve system outcomes and support the delivery of safe, reliable, and sustainable water services across New Zealand.
