New Zealand Banking Association (NZBA) on behalf of its member banks and others sought authorisation to collectively negotiate and subsequently enter a collective agreement for a period of up to 11 years with Evergreen International NZ, LLC (trading as Armourguard) for cash-in-transit services. The Commission authorised the arrangement with conditions. NZBA also sought interim authorisation to allow for participants in the proposed arrangement to collectively negotiate with Armourguard; the Commission declined NZBA’s interim authorisation application.
