New Zealand Banking Association (NZBA) on behalf of its member banks and others is seeking authorisation to collectively negotiate and subsequently enter a collective agreement for a period of up to 11 years with Evergreen International NZ, LLC (trading as Armourguard) for cash-in-transit services. NZBA also sought interim authorisation to allow for participants in the proposed arrangement to collectively negotiate with Armourguard to extend the existing terms with Armourguard and to take certain steps towards further collective negotiations. The Commission declined NZBA’s interim authorisation application.
