Meteorological Service of New Zealand Limited and National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research

The Commission completed an investigation into the terms on which competitors can access real time weather data collected by MetService and the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research Limited (NIWA). The Commission closed their investigation with no further action, because it appears there has been a change in conduct and commercial access arrangements between MetService and privately owned WeatherWatch.
