Kiwi Personal Finance Limited (KPFL)

Kiwi Personal Finance Limited (KPFL) has been warned for likely breaching section 13(i) of the Fair Trading Act for representations made in its contracts and repossession warning notices about its ability to repossess under all present and after acquired property (APAAP) clauses. KPFL were also warned for likely breaching section 83G of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act as repossession warning notices were missing key information that is required under Schedule 3A. KPFL were also warned for possibly breaching section 13(i) of the Fair Trading Act and/or section 83ZN of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act for taking security interest over a bedroom suite.
