Joint Future Wholesale Limited has been warned for likely breaching section 30(1) of the Fair Trading Act 1986, by supplying a toy plane, a toy duck shape sorter and a toy guitar which do not comply with the mandatory product safety standard for children’s toys. When the toys were assessed for compliance with the safety standard, small parts were present and/or broke off, presenting a choking risk to children aged 36 months and under.
