The Commission completed an investigation into Jetstar’s cancellation of flights during COVID-19 alert levels, and the remedies offered to consumers when cancellations occurred. The Commission considered that Jetstar’s templated communications gave rise to a possible breach of section 13(i) of the Fair Trading Act and issued Jetstar with compliance advice.
