New Zealand Consumer Survey
The purpose of the New Zealand Consumer Survey is to measure what New Zealanders know about their consumer protection rights and their success in resolving problems under the Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act, and Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act.
The Commerce Commission and MBIE jointly conducted the New Zealand Consumer Survey 2024. We surveyed a nationally representative sample of 3500 consumers aged 18 and over in March and April 2024.
