The Commission is investigating whether the Top Reviewsopen_in_new and Auckland Magazineopen_in_new websites are falsely representing that their online reviews and rankings of businesses are genuine, impartial and honest assessments, and that they do not sell or accept payment for online reviews. If established, this conduct may breach sections 9, 11 and/or 13 of the Fair Trading Act 1986.
