Timber King Limited (TKL) and NZ Steel Distributor Limited (NZSD)

As part of a series of steel mesh cases, the Commission investigated TKL and NZSD in relation to the sale of their TS10 steel mesh. TKL and NZSD agreed to give an enforceable undertaking to the Commission in relation to future testing of TS10 steel mesh. TKL and NZSD were subsequently charged and fined $400,950 for making false and misleading representations relating to their steel mesh products.
