The Warehouse Limited

The Commission has decided to prosecute The Warehouse for breaching s 30(1) of the Fair Trading Act, for supplying, offering to supply, and advertising to supply “Roo Crew Take-Apart-Vehicle” Toys that did not comply with the prescribed product safety standard. The Commission alleges the toys are manufactured, designed, labelled, or marketed for use by children up to and including 36 months of age and have small components that may create a choking hazard for young children. Charges will be filed in the District Court in due course.
