PayPal Pte Limited

The Commission has issued PayPal Pte Limited (PayPal) compliance advice in respect of PayPal’s User Agreement which governs its relationship with small business and consumer customers.  The Commission considered that some terms in the User Agreement were at risk of being unfair contract terms under the Fair Trading Act. During our investigation, PayPal has agreed to amend or remove the terms identified and committed to update its User Agreement to address the Commission’s concerns.
