ND Import and Export Limited

ND Import and Export Limited was convicted and fined $36,000 for offences under section 40(1) of the Fair Trading Act 1986 for breaching section 30 (1) of the Act, by supplying 33 defective toys (of four different types) that failed to comply with the relevant safety standard and section 31(5) of the Act for supplying 13 hot water bottles in breach of the Unsafe Goods (Hot Water Bottles) Permanent Prohibition Notice 2016.
