Home Direct Limited

Mobile trader Home Direct Limited (Home Direct) has been warned by the Commerce Commission that it likely breached the Fair Trading Act in relation to a software error that affected customers of Home Direct. The error resulted in some Home Direct customers having credits on their customer accounts turned into shopping voucher entitlements without their authority. The shopping voucher entitlements were in some cases subsequently expired and the value forfeited to Home Direct.
