Gladstone Retail Limited t/a Pak’nSave Mill Street

The Commission has decided to file criminal proceedings against Gladstone Retail Limited t/a Pak’nSave Mill Street for alleged breaches of sections 10 and/or 13(g) of the Fair Trading Act 1986. The Commission alleges that, between September 2021 and August 2024, Pak’nSave Mill Street breached the Fair Trading Act by: (1) advertising prices for grocery products that did not match the price charged at the point-of-sale; and (2) promoting grocery products at a special or discounted price where the promotional price did not offer a genuine ‘special’.
