Bed Bath and Beyond Limited

Bed Bath and Beyond Limited has been fined $230,000 after pleading guilty to five charges under sections 30(1) and 31(5) of the Fair Trading Act 1986. Between 16 March 2023 and 16 October 2023, Bed Bath and Beyond supplied more than 27,000 non-compliant products. This included hot water bottles and children’s nightwear which failed to comply with the mandatory Unsafe Goods Notice (for hot water bottles) and Product Safety Standard (for children’s nightwear).
