Alderson Logistics Limited; R.L.S. Transport Limited; ABS Carriers Limited; Supa Shavings Limited

The Commission filed proceedings in the Auckland High Court against Alderson Logistics Limited and related company Supa Shavings (2022) Limited under section 47 of the Commerce Act, which prohibits mergers likely to substantially lessen competition. The Commission and Alderson Logistics agreed to resolve the proceedings and an agreed penalty of $420,000 was imposed by the High Court.
