Transpower is developing a major capital proposal to improve the reliability of electricity supply from its Wilton substation.
The reason for this proposal is that due to the configuration of the 110 kV bus at Wilton substation, certain bus faults can lead to losses of supply to the Wellington CBD and the southern suburbs.
