Transpower was required to provide the Commission with a calculation of the draft forecast MAR. It was certified by its directors and was subject to an independent assurance report.
The Commission set the forecast MARs and these are determined in the Commission's price-quality path determination.
Transpower is required to provide a compliance monitoring report in October for each 30 June disclosure year. The report will include a wash up of the MAR.
The Commission will update a later forecast MAR to take into account the MAR wash ups and any further capital expenditure approved by the Commission after the forecast MARs were initially set.
