In early July we took a further step toward finalising the wholesale broadband prices Chorus can charge internet service providers (ISPs). In total we released over 1400 pages of documentation, which is a useful illustration of the significant amount of work Commission staff and the industry have put into this project.

While the Commission is well known for its efforts to protect consumers generally, many people may be unaware of our efforts to protect young children. As part of our product safety standard responsibilities, we have identified baby cots and children’s toys as the focus of our work in this area for the coming year.
