Interconnection

Under the Telecommunications Act 2001, access seekers may apply to the Commission for a determination of all or some of the terms on which the following interconnection services must be supplied by the relevant access provider:

  • Interconnection with Telecom's fixed Public Switched Telephone Network
  • Interconnection with fixed Public Switched Telephone Network other than Telecom's.

The Commission has released a number of interconnection determinations under the Telecommunications Act 2001.

Vodafone Interconnection Application

On 13 January 2006 the Commerce Commission received an application from Vodafone for an access determination under the Telecommunications Act 2001.
