Form of Control Conference - Additional Session Day 2 - Powerco Presentation - Transcript - 27 September 2006 PDF (157 KB): CHAIR: I would like to welcome everyone to the second day of this proceeding on the form of control with respect to the authorisation for the control of supply of natural gas distribution services by Vector and Powerco. This is a session that was added as a result of a request from Powerco to defer our session with them and the Commission, in the circumstances, is quite understanding of the need to do that. I will not read out the opening comments, other than to say that today we aim to finish at 1 o'clock.

Authorisation for the Control of Supply of Natural Gas Distribution Services by Vector Ltd and Powerco Ltd - Form of Control Conference - Additional Session - 27 September 2006 PDF (29 KB): The purpose of this memorandum is to set out the details of an additional session of the form of control conference to facilitate the postponed Powerco presentation. Authorisation for the Control of Supply of Natural Gas Distribution Services by Vector Ltd and Powerco Ltd - Form of Control Discussion Paper - 7 July 2006 PDF (1.9 MB): On 27 July 2005 the Minister of Energy announced the decision to impose control over the gas distribution services of Powerco Ltd. ('Powerco') and Vector Ltd. ('Vector') (the 'controlled businesses'). The Minister made this decision based upon, among other advice, the recommendations of the Commerce Commission (Commission) in its Gas Control Inquiry Final Report. Control was implemented by way of an Order in Council ('the Control Order'), and took effect on and including 25 August 2005.
