Commerce Commission investigation highlights variable results in sunscreen testing

An investigation by the Commerce Commission, after allegations that some sunscreen failed SPF or Broad Spectrum testing, has highlighted a problem with the application of the current sunscreen standard that is mandatory in Australia and voluntary in New Zealand.

GE Money customers get refunds for interest charged on 'interest free' contracts

Several thousand customers who bought items on 'interest free' terms but were incorrectly charged interest will get more than $3 million back, after an out of court settlement between the Commerce Commission and GE Finance and Insurance, trading as GE Money.
