On 31 August 2005 the Commission issued a determination (Decision 554) in respect of the local and cellular telephone number portability designated multinetwork services. This determination is set to expire on 19 December 2010.
The Commission has decided to initiate a process for a designated multinetwork determination under subpart 3 Part 2 of the Telecommunications Act, with the intention to issue the final determination before the expiry of Decision 554.
The final decision has been published on 15 December 2010.
