Commission grants EIR Act exemption to Dr Keith Turner

The Commerce Commission has granted an exemption under the Electricity Industry Reform Act 1998 (EIR Act) to the Chief Executive of Meridian Energy Limited, Dr Keith Turner, in respect of his impending appointment to the board of Auckland International Airport Limited (AIAL).

Electricity Lines Businesses: ODV Handbook - Conference Details

The Commerce Commission will hold a three day conference next week on its draft Optimised Deprival Valuation (ODV) Handbook. The conference is part of the Commission's consultation with interested parties on the development of an ODV Handbook for large electricity lines businesses, under Part 4A of the Commerce Act.
