The Commission has published information disclosure requirements under Part 4 of the Commerce Act for suppliers of electricity distribution services (EDBs). These requirements supersede the Commission’s Electricity Distribution (Information Disclosure) Requirements 2008.
EDBs must make their first annual disclosures under the new requirements in 2013.
The Commission is still in the process of developing information disclosure requirements for Transpower.
Please note that EDBs have until 31 December 2012 to make the annual disclosures required under clauses 3, 4, 6 and 7(5) of the 2008 ID Requirements, for the disclosure year to 31 March 2012 only. This extension was publicly signalled in the NZ Gazette on 02 August 2012
