Customer Transfer Code

The current Customer Transfer Code (CTC) was approved by the Commerce Commission on 12 October 2006.  The Telecommunications Carriers’ Forum (TCF) has now submitted a revised draft CTC for the Commission’s approval.

On 10 November 2011, the TCF submitted its Revised Draft Code for the Transfer of Telecommunications Services (Customer Transfer Code) for approval by the Commerce Commission.  This Revised Draft Code would replace the current Code for the Transfer of Telecommunications Services approved by the Commission on 12 October 2006.

The Commission has decided to conduct a further round of consultation on the Revised Draft Code.  The Commission started the consultation on 15 December 2011 and submissions are due by 2 February 2012.
