On 5 October 2004, the Telecommunications Carriers' Forum (TCF) submitted its draft code for co-location of radio-communications services for approval by the Commerce Commission.
On 20 June 2005, the Commission decided that it could not approve the draft co-location code for the reasons set out in the letter to the TCF (below).
On 22 September 2006, the TCF re-submitted its draft co-location code and attached Master Co-location Agreement for approval by the Commission. The Commission decided not to conduct its own consultation on the draft code. All submissions received by the TCF in relation to the draft code can be found on the TCF website.
On 7 December 2006, the Commission approved the co-location code.
On 17 December 2008, the Commission revoked the co-location code due to the release of the standard terms determination for co-location on cellular mobile transmission sites.
