Wholesale Overview

An access seeker can apply to the Commission for a determination of all or some of the terms on which regulated services are supplied on a wholesale/resale basis. Price is calculated using the relevant initial pricing principle. Once the Commission makes a wholesale determination, any party to that determination may apply for a review of the price using the relevant final pricing principle. However, rather than do this some parties have requested the Commission reconsider the method by which it calculated the intial price.

This section of the website contains all documentation relating to applications that the Commission has received for wholesale/resale determinations, all wholesale determinations that the Commission has released, and all documentation relating to wholesale pricing reviews. Click on the headings of each category to view all applications:

Bitstream Access and Backhaul

• access to, and interconnection with, Telecom's fixed PDN ("Bitstream Access"); and
• access to Telecom's fixed PDN backhaul ("Bitstream backhaul")

Wholesale/Resale

• Retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed telecommunication network;
• Bundle of retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed telecommunications network;
• Retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed telecommunications network as part of a bundle of retail services; and
• Residential local access and calling service offered by means of Telecom’s fixed telecommunications network ("Residential Resale").
