On 26 November 2002, Telecom filed two applications under the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), requesting the Commission review the price set in the Final Interconnection Determination for respectively, interconnection with TelstraClear's fixed PSTN and interconnection with Telecom's fixed PSTN.

Prior to the filing of these applications, on 15 November 2002, TelstraClear also filed an application under the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), requesting the Commission review the price set in the Final Interconnection Determination for interconnection with Telcom's fixed PSTN and interconnection with TelstraClear's fixed PSTN.

On 10 January 2003, the Commission informed Telecom and TelstraClear (‘the Parties’) that it had decided to simultaneously deal with the three applications within a single process and that all aspects of the individual applications will be addressed within the one pricing review Determination.

Refer to the TelstraClear Interconnection Pricing Review page for all documentation relating to the combined review.

On 13 January 2006 Telecom and TelstraClear announced that they have entered into an agreement settling a number of applications that are currently being considered by the Commission.
